Elevator pitch: I am an atmospheric and public policy scientist studying deep decarbonization strategies for the toughest climate-affecting sectors and species. I am also studying the environmental side effects of unplanned climate action. Interests also include learning about sustainable responses to a changing climate.

About Me: I am a postdoctoral research associate in the La Follette School of Public Affairs at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, working with Morgan Edwards on the accounting and mitigation issues of methane at various spatial and technological scales. I did my Ph.D. in Atmospheric Science from the Colorado State University, Fort Collins, with Tami Bond and Jeffrey Pierce, on the topics of anthropogenic particulate metal emissions and their Earth system impacts. I am an environmental engineer by undergraduate education and training and have worked on waste-water and air-quality issues in India.
